PASTOR KEN BUTTERMORE, Lead Pastor
Pastor Ken has been at SSBC (then GCC) since 1998. He has pastored in Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota for forty years in four churches. He holds the M.A. in Bible Exposition from Pensacola Christian College. Pastor Ken and Janet reared five children and now enjoy fifteen grandchildren. They love Jesus and His Church and desire others to do the same.
PASTOR JUSTIN BLACKWOOD, Assistant Pastor
Pastor Justin came to SSBC (then GCC) in December of 2010 as Pastor of Student Ministries and was made Assistant Pastor in 2012. He is the husband of Kendra and the father of Emeth, Caedmon, Cullen, and Elora. Pastor Justin has a degree in counseling from Grace College and Theological Seminary in Indiana.
PASTOR KEN WOMBACHER, Assistant Pastor
Pastor Ken is the husband of Whitney and the father of Alec, Isaac, Elijah, Amelia, Jade, and Olivia. The Wombachers have attended SSBC (then GCC) since 2004 and Pastor Ken joined the staff in 2015. Pastor Ken has a degree in Bible and Theology from Liberty University.
Jerod is husband of Kim and father of Mekenna, Hudson, Houston, Gaash, and Maya. Jerod works for TSL Companies. The Epps have attended SSBC (then GCC) since 2005.
Jerry is husband of Renae, father to three grown daughters and grandfather of eight. Jerry is retired from an HVAC company and enjoys large game hunting. The Magills have attended SSBC (then GCC) since 1999.
Mike is the husband of Joyce, father of four grown children, and grandfather of nine. He is a retired Air Force Officer and a retired teacher, most recently from Lifegate Christian School in Omaha. The Nylins have been at SSBC (then GCC) since 2008.
Jeff is the husband of Barb, the father of three grown sons, and the grandfather of Martin, Elsie, and Charles. He has farmed in the Gretna and Springfield area for over 27 years. The Scholtings have attended SSBC (then GCC) since 1991.
Ivan is the husband of Melissa and father of Allison, Emily, and Madison. Ivan is originally from northeast Kansas and works for AgWest Commodities in Gretna. The Ziegs have attended SSBC (then GCC) since 2005.
